In this presentation, I will reflect on my research journey, connecting the different themes and projects that have shaped my work from my PhD years to the present. I will explore how research on entrepreneurship, organizations, and inequality intersects, and how insights from one project have inspired new questions and directions in others. Along the way, I will offer a glimpse into how I approach research, develop ideas, and identify new opportunities. I will conclude by sharing some reflections and advice for PhD students and early-career researchers on navigating the interplay between external funding, empirical research, and journal publications.
