ENGAGE.EU Financial Accounting Research Symposium

The workshop has two main objectives:
- To provide early-career researchers with constructive feedback on their work
- To strengthen academic collaboration among financial accounting scholars across partner institutions.
The symposium brings together researchers from NHH Norwegian School of Economics, Tilburg University, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, Esade (Ramon Llull University), and the University of Mannheim within the ENGAGE.EU alliance.
The scientific focus addresses timely challenges at the intersection of financial accounting and sustainability, including corporate disclosure, sustainability reporting, regulatory developments, and data-driven decision-making.
The workshop will feature keynote presentations by Alexis Wegerich (Norges Bank Investment Management) and Ana Simpson (IFRS Foundation), whose perspectives will highlight emerging trends and foster dialogue between academia and practice.
By connecting institutions and researchers across Europe, the workshop aims to build a lasting collaborative community at the forefront of financial accounting and sustainability research.
