BIOGRAPHY

Nikodem is a second-year PhD student at the Department of Economics, associated with FAIR, under the supervision of Katrine V. Løken. Prior to joining NHH, he completed an MRes in Economics at the European University Institute and worked at the Polish Ministry of Finance on projects using tax micro-data.

His research focuses on family economics and intergenerational inequality - specifically, how family structure shapes children's life cycle outcomes and the persistence of inequality across generations. His current work studies intergenerational mobility in complex families such as stepfamilies and single-parent households. using linked administrative registers. He has published in the European Journal of Political Economy and Business & Politics.
