BIO:
Murat Besili is a Ph.D. Research Scholar at the Department of Strategy and Management. He holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Norwegian School of Economics coupled with CEMS master’s in international management at HEC Paris. Murat worked at an international FMCG company for eight years, mainly responsible for firm digitalization. In his research, he will work on business model innovation by analyzing the big textual data such as electronic word of mouth and corporate reports with text mining.
As he approaches the final stage of his PhD, Murat Besili reflects on his journey at DIG. Besili originally comes from a background in data and digitalization, where he has worked on projects that help organizations make better use of data and technology in their operations.
