About WWH

The Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness Initiative based at NHH Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen, is an interdisciplinary initiative dedicated to top-level research, education, and public leadership on happiness and quality of life.

Led by Hallgeir Sjåstad, a prominent psychology professor who is broadly interested in decision-making and drivers of happiness and meaning in life, WWH connects a Nordic and global network of researchers across different branches of psychology, behavioral science, economics, and public health.

The Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness Initiative is a sister organization and close collaborator of the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness at the Stockholm School of Economics, led by professor Micael Dahlen.
