Fudan University 2026 summer course "Governing the Digital State"

Fudan University 2026 summer course "Governing the Digital State"

Passionate about public policy and governance in the age of algorithms? Eager to add critical nuance to your understanding of A.I. and technology’s role in policy, governance, and administration?

Fudan University arranges its 2026 summer course "Governing the Digital State: Public Policy and Social Governance in the 21st Century," and up to 4 NHH students may be nominated for a fee waiver.

Taught by Professor Minna van Gerven (University of Helsinki & Fudan University MOHRSS Foreign Expert), this course explores how digital transformation reshapes public administration, policy-making, and social governance. It covers critical topics such as AI in public services, algorithmic bias, digital inequality, and global governance models, with interactive lectures, case discussions, and group presentations.

The Summer School primarily targets undergraduate students, but graduate students may also apply. Priority is given to undergraduate applicants.
