ENGAGE.EU Online courses
NHH students can participate in online courses offered by NHH and by partner universities in the Engage.EU alliance.
If you are a prospective incoming student to NHH, go to Engage.EU Online Exchange - Incoming.

As a participant, you will be part of a virtual and international classroom.
ONLINE COURSES OFFERED at NHH
We usually offer one or two Engage.EU online courses at NHH each semester. They can be fully or partly online. Read the course description for each course to find out more.
Course offer SPRING 2026
Master's course: EEU416
- From 20 December 2025: Apply for access by signing up for the course at Studentweb.
- You will be admitted to the course on a first come, first serve basis.
- By 1 February 2026: If the course does not fill up earlier, this is the final deadline to sign up at Studentweb.
Master's course: EEU417
- From 20 December 2025: Apply for access by signing up for the course at Studentweb.
- You must also send your CV and a short motivation statement (100 words) specifying why you want to participate in the course to the lecturer Theresa Bührle (theresa.buhrle@nhh.no).
- Students are selected based on their motivation letter.
- By 25 January 2026: This is the final deadline to sign up at Studentweb and email CV and motivation statement to lecturer. You will be notified if you have been selected by 1 February.
ONLINE COURSES OFFERED in THE ALLIANCE
These courses have different formats, but can all be completed online. They are part of the Engage.EU Online Exchange Initiative (OEI):
- Explore the Engage.EU Course Catalogue.
- Apply directly to the institution offering the course, via link in the course catalogue.
- Note that NHH courses in the Engage.EU Course Catalogue are only available as on campus courses for NHH students. You sign up for these courses at Studentweb.
- Application period for the spring semester 2026: 24 November - 14 December 2025
Who can apply
- NHH students in a degree programme can apply for online courses at the relevant level offered at both NHH and in the alliance.
- Exchange students and double degree students at NHH can normally not take online courses offered in the alliance, but will often be able to take online courses offered at NHH. Read the course description for each course carefully about restricted access.
Course pre-approval and recognition
Online courses at NHH
- Sign up for the course at Studentweb. These courses are offered as NHH electives.
- You don't have to apply for pre-approval and recognition. The course is already recognised as part of your NHH study programme.
Online courses in the alliance
You are welcome to take one or more of the Engage.EU online courses, whether you plan to have the courses recognised at NHH or not. If you don't want to include the online course(s) in your degree, you can skip step 2 and 3 below.
- Apply for courses directly to the institution offering the course you are interested in, via a link in the Engage.EU Course Catalogue.
- Apply for pre-approval to NHH (if applicable) to find out if the course will be recognised as part of your degree.
- Apply for recognition to NHH after you have received your transcript of records for the Engage.EU online courses you took. Email the transcript(s) to international@nhh.no.
NHH courses in the Engage.EU Course Catalogue are offered as on campus courses to NHH students unless otherwise specified in the NHH course description.
