ENGAGE.EU Online courses
NHH students can participate in online courses offered by NHH and by partner universities in the Engage.EU alliance.
If you are a prospective incoming student to NHH, go to Engage.EU Online Exchange - Incoming.
This webpage is being updated.
As a participant, you will be part of a virtual and international classroom.
ONLINE COURSES OFFERED at NHH
We usually offer one or two Engage.EU online courses at NHH each semester.
Course offer Autumn 2025
Explore the dynamics of virtual teamwork in diverse cultural contexts by enrolling in the Engage.EU signature course Virtual Collaboration Across Cultures (EEU412):
- An elective at master's level of 5 ECTS.
- Sign up for the course at Studentweb.
- Registration deadline: 1 September 2025.
ONLINE COURSES OFFERED in THE ALLIANCE
These courses have different formats, but can all be completed online. They are part of the Engage.EU Online Exchange Initiative (OEI):
- Explore the Engage.EU Course Catalogue.
- Apply directly to the institution offering the course, via link in the course catalogue.
- Application period: 2-30 June 2025.
Who can apply
- NHH students in a degree programme can apply for online courses at the relevant level offered at both NHH and in the alliance.
- Exchange students and double degree students at NHH can normally not take online courses offered in the alliance, but will often be able to take online courses offered at NHH. Read the course description for each course carefully about restricted access.
How does it work
Online courses at NHH
- Sign up at Studentweb. These courses are offered as NHH electives. Please note that if there are a limited number of places in the course, other instructions may apply. Read the course description carefully, especially the section for restricted access.
- You don't have to apply for pre-approval and recognition. The course is already recognised as part of your NHH study programme.
Online courses in the alliance
You are welcome to take one or more of the Engage.EU online courses, whether you plan to have the courses recognised at NHH or not. If you don't want to include the online course(s) in your degree, you can skip step 2 and 3 below.
- Apply for courses directly to the institution offering the course you are interested in, via a link in the Engage.EU Course Catalogue.
- Apply for pre-approval to NHH (if applicable) to find out if the course will be recognised as part of your degree.
- Apply for recognition to NHH after you have received your transcript of records for the Engage.EU online courses you took. Email the transcript(s) to international@nhh.no.
NHH courses in the Engage.EU Course Catalogue are offered as on campus courses to NHH students unless otherwise specified in the NHH course description.
More information coming by late June about pre-approval and an FAQ.
