• Only students who are already enrolled at NHH may apply for admission to the CEMS MIM program.
• If you are a bachelor’s student at NHH, you may apply to the CEMS MIM program during the final year of your bachelor’s studies. In this case, your CEMS MIM year will constitute the first year of your master’s degree at NHH.
• If you are already a master’s student at NHH, you must apply during the first semester of your master’s studies. Students beginning their studies in either the autumn or spring semester are welcome to apply. For these students, the CEMS MIM year will constitute the second year of the NHH master’s degree.
• Students on approved leave of absence are not eligible to apply to the CEMS program.
• You may not apply to both the CEMS program and the Double Degree program. Students who have already been admitted to the Double Degree program will not be considered for CEMS.
• As a general rule, you may not complete your CEMS exchange semester in a country of which you are a citizen.

Upload the following documents as part of your application:

1. Transcript(s) from previous higher education
2. Letter of motivation (in English)
   Maximum one page
3. Curriculum Vitae / résumé (in English)
4. Any relevant language certificates

You are required to demonstrate a strong command of the English language. You will be considered to have met this requirement if:

• English is your native language, or
• You have completed a bachelor’s degree taught entirely in English.

All other applicants must submit either a TOEFL or IELTS test score. Test results must be submitted no later than April 1, 2026.

NHH accepts the following minimum scores:

• TOEFL: a total score of 100 on the internet-based test
• IELTS: an overall score of 7.0

TOEFL and IELTS results must be no more than two years old.

Other languages: Although proficiency in a third language is an exit requirement for CEMS, you must list your current language(s) as well as your proposed third language in your application (this may be changed later). If a Declaration of Mother Tongue is relevant in your case, please complete the attached form and include it with your application.

Submit your online application by registering through the NHH application portal available on the CEMS global website. Do not create an account until you have accessed the NHH CEMS application portal.

After submitting the online application form, you must email a copy of the completed form and all required attachments to cems@nhh.no no later than 2 November.
