About the course

In this course, you will:

  • understand how societal transition shapes organisational strategy and value creation
  • analyse trade-offs between sustainability, resilience and economic viability
  • apply frameworks for developing sustainable and resilient business models
  • explore the role of innovation, digitalisation and AI in enabling transition
  • work with real-world challenges and develop practical, viable solutions

The course addresses how organisations respond to sustainability pressures, technological change and geopolitical uncertainty. It combines a macro perspective on systemic change with a micro perspective on strategic choices within organisations, including business model development and innovation.

Learning is organised through online modules and an intensive, challenge-based workshop, where you apply concepts and tools in your own professional context.

Target group

The course is designed for professionals working with strategy, innovation, sustainability or transformation.

Participants typically work in business development, innovation, sustainability and advisory roles, across both private and public sectors.

A network for learning

You take part in an international learning environment through the ENGAGE.EU alliance, working with participants from different sectors and European partner institutions.The course combines structured learning with peer interaction and collaborative problem-solving, providing a platform for both professional development and network building.

Take the course on its own, or as part of a master’s degree

You can take individual courses for professional development, or combine them over time to complete the Executive Master of Management. Please note that the full programme is offered in Norwegian.
