Awarded prestigious prize by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences
Tove Forsbacka has been awarded the Arnberg Prize for her contribution to research on competition and market dynamics.
Tove is an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) at the Department of Economics, Norwegian School of Economics.
Her research is in Antitrust and Corporate Governance, focusing on topics such as shareholder voting, market power and collusion.
She teaches courses in Industrial Organisation and Competition Economics at the graduate and undergraduate level. She is also part of the team organising the BECCLE conference on Competition Law and Economics, bringing together academics, practitioners and policymakers.
Tove obtained her PhD from Stockholm School of Economics in 2024 and received the Peter Högfeldt Award for Outstanding PhD Thesis. She has held visiting positions at the University of Chicago (2022/2023) and Paris Panthéon-Assas University (spring 2022).
