Filip Truyen has been professor II at the Norwegian School of Economics since 2011. He is also professor II at the University of Bergen and a partner in Wikborg, Rein & Co International Law Firm. Truyen's main area of expertise is company law and securities law. He is Doctor of Laws on a thesis regarding Abuse of Shareholders' Rights. He has published scientific work with focus on shareholder conflicts, directors' liability, corporate governance, compulsory acquisition, public ownership and enterprise valuation. Filip Truyen has broad experience as an Appellate Court Judge and as an Arbitrator. Truyen was Deputy Chairman at the Appeal Board of Stock Exchanges in Norway in the period 2009-2012-. In 2015 he was appointed as the Chairman of the Norwegian Government's Legislative Committee on Securities, a position he will hold until the end of 2017.
