Wealth tax is no «gift to foreign investors»

Øyvind Thomassen: Wealth tax is not significant when it comes to financing of new projects. The exception is small firms that have to finance investments with own funds.

Everything - including low interests - indicate that there is shortage of profitable projects, not shortage of capital to finance them. Witzøe's own success in building an enormous fortune from scratch indicates that indeed, it is the contractor, not the money, that first and foremost create values, Øyvind Thomassen writes.
