Hanwen Zhang joins the Department of Economics at NHH as a PhD research scholar in Autumn 2021. After graduating with bachelors in Financial Management and Finance from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in China, he studied economics and received his master’s degree from University of Zurich in Switzerland.
Hanwen’s main research interests lay in business cycle and financial stability. He is specifically interested in financial risks in macroeconomics with heterogeneity.
