Poster Session DIG Summit 2025: From research to real-world impact
Explore the projects turning AI insights into action at this year’s DIG Summit.
This year’s DIG Summit is being held on November 5, at NHH in Bergen. During the Summit, several representatives from business and academia are gathering to discuss this year’s topic: AI in a changed geopolitical landscape. One of the highlights of the event is the poster session, where several research projects will be showcased.
The poster session brings together a diverse set of projects exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming industries, leadership, and society at large. From the geography of AI value creation in Norway to the ethical and psychological implications of human–AI interaction, the presentations reflect the variety of perspectives on AI that exist.
This year’s key themes
Among the featured projects, “The Geography of AI in Norway” maps where AI knowledge is created versus where it generates economic value, revealing how Oslo dominates value capture despite strong research clusters in other regions. “Bridging Silicon Valhalla” examines Nordic venture capital networks and how investor centrality and international exposure affect startup success, providing insights into the financial infrastructure behind innovation.
Other posters turn attention to the human side of technological change. “Styrt eller Støttet?” investigates how leadership style shapes employees’ use of generative AI tools, while “KI fremfor terapi?” explores how AI chatbots might complement mental health support, especially among groups less likely to seek traditional help.
At the same time, projects such as “AI for Decisions” and “Could AI Enhance Maritime Operation Safety?” demonstrate how AI can enhance decision-making and operational safety in complex, high-stakes environments. Furthermore, “Strategisk kompetanseheving i norsk teknologinæring” highlights how companies are treating continuous learning as a strategic tool for adaptation and competitiveness in the technology industry.
Engage, connect, and reflect
Together, these posters illustrate the breadth of AI-related research emerging from NHH, SNF, and DIG’s partner institutions. They showcase not only technological advances, but also the organizational, ethical, and societal questions that must be addressed as AI becomes deeply embedded in our economy.
The poster session will be open to all Summit participants and offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with the researchers behind the studies. We invite you to discuss ideas, explore collaborations, and reflect on how AI can contribute to sustainable and inclusive growth.
