Admission requirements and practical information
Participants must meet one of the following educational background criteria:
- Bachelor's degree
- Cand.mag. degree
- Other degree or course of study with a scope of at least three years (180 credits)
- Education that, pursuant to Section 3-4 of the Norwegian Act relating to Universities and University Colleges, is recognised as equivalent to the above-mentioned degrees or educational programmes.
Participants must have at least three years of relevant work experience.
Upload the original documents that you received from the educational institution. All documentation must be in either a Scandinavian language or English, officially issued by your previous institutions or in a certified translation. For more information, please read Admission MBA in Fintech.
Tuition Fee and Costs
This includes teaching, literature, lunch and refreshments in the breaks.
Accommodation and evening meals in Bergen/Oslo will cost approx. NOK 10 000 (optional).
Travel, housing and personal expenses concerning the study sessions in Europe and Asia
Travel and housing are stipulated to approx. NOK 25 000 per session.
The university fee to Sammen (student union) will cost NOK 590,- per semester (§ 15 in the regulation on student unions)
NHH does not offer scholarships.
Scope and duration
The scope of each module is 15 ECTS credits. Module 1 and 4 consists of four sessions each, while Module 2 and 3 consists of 2 sessions each. Eight sessions will be held in Norway (Bergen/Oslo), and will last three full days each (Thursday-Saturday). The final two sessions will be held at an international university, one in Europe and one in Asia. These will last 4-5 days each. In addition to the abovementioned sessions, we will also have online video lectures to supplement the physical sessions in each module.
It is an experience-based master's degree programme, and candidates who complete the programme receive a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialisation in Fintech.
The programme has mandatory attendance. The particular characteristics of the programme require an active and committed effort. This means that there must be an advance agreement with your employer on leave to attend the sessions.
NHH will order literature packages that are normally sent out in advance of the programme/semester. In addition, there is required reading that will be made available electronically.
Tuition and exam fees are billed in advance of each semester. The first invoice is sent after the first meeting.
The invoice will be sent directly to you as a student, at your registered email address. If the employer is to pay for the study, you must clarify with your employer how this is to be done.
