    TYS10 German language is the first course of German as an elective subject. It provides a good basis for communicating effectively in professional settings when all basic elements of the German language system are introduced. The focus is on written and oral professional communication, for instance when students summarize arguments in shortened economic texts. The course also provides insight into social and economic themes in contemporary Germany. Methods include German internet platforms and prepared introductions to institutions and political process / political history of Germany since 1945.
