Teaching award to Karin Thorburn
NHH Professor Karin Thorburn is awarded a teaching award at Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley, for the autumn 2015.
"NHH has a good reason to be proud to have a lecturer who get top evaluation in one of the most recognised universities in the US", says Jøril Mæland, Head of the Department of Finance.
Professor Karin Thorburn has become a member of "Club 6". This recognition requires a mean teaching rating of at least 6.0 of 7.0 on the student teaching evaluations in non-PhD courses.
As for autumn 2015, the newest edition of "Club 6" consists of 82 faculty members. This is half of the 163 distinct instructors for the autumn 2015.
Thorburn was also awarded the "Master students award for outstanding teaching" at NHH for the academic year 2014/2015.
