Participating in the PhD program at NHH is an experience that I am truly grateful for.

As a PhD student at the Department of Economics, I got to interact with highly competent faculty members, PhD students and visitors from foreign institutions. I also regularly participated in PhD courses with Professors at the research frontier in my field both at NHH and abroad.

PhD students are included in Department activities, and I was actively included in the research network of my supervisor. The Department encourages PhD students to spend time at academic institutions abroad, and to participate in international conferences, which was very valuable.

In my current job as a consultant, I use the skills and experiences I gained as a PhD student every day. Experience with data analysis and microeconometrics methods, as well as knowledge of empirical research, are skills that are of great value to me, my employer and our clients.
