Receiving your PhD diploma

Some of the new doctors from the academic year 2016/2017 gathered after the graduation ceremony in Jun 2017. With vice rector Helge Thorbjørnsen and rector Frøystein Gjesdal.

After defending your PhD

Shortly after your public defence, you will receive a conferment of your degree of Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.).

The school will invite you to a formal ceremony taking place in the NHH’s aula mid-August, where you will receive your diploma.

The rector has the pleasure of inviting you to lunch in our reception room “Stupet” immediately after the ceremony. The new doctors will receive an invitation letter to this ceremony in June/July.

The new doctors have the permission to wear the NHH doctoral ring and tie/jacket pin. For further information about the ring and the pin, please contact the Office of Student and Academic Affairs at NHH (the information centre).
