Global Business Venturing
Convert your idea to a profitable and sustainable global business.
From August 2017 on, up to 50 master students at NHH will meet business leaders and entrepreneurs from all over the world. The new Global Business Venturing course is developed in cooperation with Gelato and will provide the participating students with a framework to turn their ideas into tomorrow’s global companies.
The course addresses the distinct strategic and organizational issues that entrepreneurs face when launching new ventures and building new organisations.
GBV has two main audiences:
- participants who would like to start and manage their own businesses at some point after graduation.
- those who want to understand how new business ventures are created and managed, including those who plan to be involved with start-ups as employees, investors, customers, consultants, or business development managers in large enterprises.
Develop your own idea
Participants who already have entrepreneurial ideas they wish to explore will have the opportunity to make their business ideas the subject of the course project.
Master students in all specialisations at NHH can apply. The course is a major or minor course in the STR and MBM specialisations. For everyone else it may be included as an elective course.
First semester master students (autumn 2017) are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants will be asked to state their motivation for applying to the course and (very briefly) describe a potential business idea
Deadline for course application is 01 July 2017.
