The Choice Lab and CELE researchers honored by NHH

Today, Bertil Tungodden was awarded the Prize for Excellence in Research. Sandra E. Black was appointed Honorary Doctor at NHH.

Exactly 100 years ago, the Norwegian Parliament decided to establish NHH. During the anniversary celebration today, NHH awarded Bertil Tungodden with the prestigious Prize for Excellence in Research. Tungodden will be the director of the new Centre of Excellence FAIR. Tungodden thanked his colleagues at The Choice Lab and the whole school, and gave special thanks to Agnar Sandmo, Alexander Cappelen and Kjell Salvanes, who he cites as his greatest sources of inspiration.

NHH also appointed five new Honorary Doctors, among them Sandra E. Black. Sandra Black will be principle investigator in the new centre and has been affilated with CELE as adjunct professor for many years.

During the celebrations, recent PhD students were awarded their diplomas. Among them former The Choice Lab PhD student Sebastian Fest.

The celebrations continue with the Honorary Doctor Symposium with lectures by NHH's five new Honorary Doctors.
