FAIR is hiring student assistants

FAIR is looking for two students to support the centre with finance and accounting tasks, as well as centre coordination. FAIR is part of the Department of Economics and has approximately 40 employees.

Join our administrative team at FAIR as we seek student assistants for two distinct roles:

  • Student Assistant for Finance and Accounting
  • Student Assistant for Centre Coordination

We're searching for self-driven, responsible individuals who thrive in high-pressure environments. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in an active research environment, gaining unique insights into our research activities.

The workload will vary, with an estimated commitment of approximately 10 hours per week. We prefer candidates who can work for FAIR over an extended period. The engagement will be for one year, with the possibility of extension for up to a total of 3 years. The working language is Norwegian, but communication with researchers will often be in English. Training will be provided.

Detailed information about both positions and the application procedure can be found below.

  • Control and accounting related to hospitality and incoming invoices.

It is a prerequisite that the candidate has good data skills, is proficient in using Excel, and has a good understanding of finance.

STUDENT ASSISTANT FOR CENTRE COORDINATION

The selected candidate will primarily work alongside a centre coordinator at FAIR. You will mainly focus on supporting the center with event coordination, communication, and various administrative tasks.
