Investigating tolerance to business risk/corruption risk: The Norwegian Pension Fund & TRACE database

The Norwegian pension fund applies ethical standards for their investments. That does not imply absence from operations in countries with a high risk of corruption. Using information of the sort gathered in the TRACE database, we encourage master students to investigate the extent to which the fund’s portfolio is associated with a high risk of corruption. Under what circumstances are investors likely to prevent investments from being misused for corrupt benefit?
