The meeting is organized by the University of Stavanger in collaboration with the Center of Empirical Labor Economics (CELE) at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment at UC Berkeley. The meeting will last for three days starting with a hike for early arrivers and an early dinner on Sunday, December 6. The academic program starts on Monday morning and ends on Tuesday afternoon.

Following a successful event in 2014, CReAM UCL, University of Warwick and the Norwegian School of Economics are organizing for the second time a join workshop. This years topic is “The Economics of Human Capital”. This workshop brings together academics from these three institutions as well as invited speakers.

Austin-Bergen-London (ABL) Empirical Microeconomics Workshop 2015

The workshop is an intimate gathering of a select set of economists from the United States and Europe. The papers will focus on labor markets, families and children and will span labor economics, health, and education. The workshop is organized by the London School of Economics & Political Science, the University of Texas at Austin and the Norwegian School of Economics.
The workshop will last for two days. The academic program starts at lunchtime on Thursday May 14 and finishing around 5pm on Friday May 15.

Bergen-Stavanger Workshop on Labour Markets, Families and Children 2014

The meeting is organized by the Center of Empirical Labor Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in collaboration with the University of Stavanger.
The meeting will last for three days starting with a hiking trip to Mount Ulriken on Sunday afternoon. The academic program starts in the morning on Monday June 2 and ends in the afternoon on June 3.

Accommodation is reserved at Clarion Hotel Havnekontoret located at Bryggen and Scandic Strand Hotel next to the Fish market.
