Sigrun Tengesdal to Archive
Sigrun Tengesdal has just started in a permanent position as adviser at the Section for Archive Services. "I really enjoy working with digitalisation and the practical changes this leads to in working methods in the organisation", she says.
Sigrun will be responsible for user support and daily operations of the archive with the main focus on digital work and development.
"I really enjoy working with digitalisation and the practical changes this leads to in working methods in the organisation. This posistion is at the heart of the digital future and will be helpful in how the practical working day is developing for employees. My impression is that NHH has a great focus on digitisation opportunities and is forward-looking in relation to change management. I want to be part of this. Getting to work in a field that has moved up from the dark archives in the basement and into the clouds for the last 20 years is very exciting", Sigrun says.
For the past three years, Sigrun has worked as department head at the Document Services at BKK, a department with archives, postal reception, guest reception and switchboard. Her main focus in recent years has been on improvement and digitalisation, which she hopes to work with at NHH as well. Prior to this she worked as an archival consultant at BKK.
Sigrun holds a master's degree in archeology from the University of Bergen where she worked in the museum magazines and electronic databases at the Bryggens Museum.
Sigrun has taken over most of Signe Morvik's responsibilities. Signe does not work at NHH any more.
