Simone Traini to RRR and NoCeT

Simone Traini from Italy has just joined the Department of Accounting, Auditing and Law and the Norwegian Centre for Taxation. He has a four-year position as postdoctoral fellow/assistant professor, and his research interests cover tax accounting, geographic disclosure, corporate governance and shareholder activism.

Simone will be teaching Strategic Financial Statement Analysis (BUS424) and Taxes and Business Strategies (FIE441).

Background 

After a Master’s degree from LUISS University (Italy), Simone moved to the UK. At the University of Warwick, he was awarded his PhD in Accounting in 2019 and received a Teaching Excellence Award for Outstanding Contribution to Teaching. In 2018, he was visiting scholar at Stern School of Business at New York University.
