Do you have any holiday left this year? You can either take the holiday on this side of New Year's Eve, or you can transfer it to next year. You can transfer up to 14 days. Talk with your head of department or administration manager.
You cannot take unused holidays as salary. For further information, please see transferring and taking holiday in advance in the employee handbook.
From the year you turn 62 years, you are entitled to 10 extra days off with pay each calendar year. (Eight days are provided for by the HTA Basic Collective Agreement and two days are agreed on at NHH between the parties involved). You can take the 10 days off with pay either as whole days or as reduced working hours by agreement with NHH. They cannot be transferred to next year. Also, it is not possible to get payed salary for these days. If you don't use your Senior Days by the end of the year, they will be deleted.
