Funding for course development?
You can apply for funding to enhance pedagogical innovation and develop documentation within active learning, digital learning methods or digital assessment for 2019-2020 from the Norwegian Agency for Digital Learning in Higher Education.
Deadline: 22 October 2018.
The Norwegian Agency for Digital Learning in Higher Education (Norgesuniversitetet) supports projects that explore and develop pedagogical practice. The projects have to document experiences and best practice. These should be shared with fellow teachers, the government and the society.
This year, the agency will prioritise projects within these three fields:
- Active learning (e.g. flipped classroom, problem based learning, students as researchers)
- Digital learning methods and structures for the working life, industry and commerce
- Digital assessment (e.g. ways of measuring the students' learning outcome)
The Norwegian Agency for Digital Learning in Higher Education has a total of 12.5 mill NOK for various projects in 2019 - 2020. Examples of projects that previously have been granted support are academic writing for bachelor students (UoB), classroom quiz in mathematics (NTNU), students as research teams (Nord University), “Firenight” – three courses for the working life in a new pedagogical model, (UoB) and Implementing formative assessment through digital portfolios (HVL). More examples of funded projects are available in Norwegian: Prosjektarkivet (Norgesuniversitetet).
Technically, NHH will send the application. We would like those who are interested to contact Frank Mortensen for additional information and discussion on how to proceed with the application.
The Agency's application deadline is 22 October 2018.
The full announcement is unfortunately available only in Norwegian at norgesuniversitetet.no.
