Lisa Maria Aßmann is a PhD Research Scholar at the Business and Management Science department at NHH. She is part of the research center for Shipping and Logistics, and her research mainly deals with the statistical analysis of data from maritime shipping. In the current projects she works with forecasting techniques for maritime forward and freight rates and also analyses vessel speeds, based on Automated Identification System (AIS) data.
Lisa has a Master’s degree from NHH with a specialization in Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment, partly completed at the Economics department of Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Corporate Management and Economics from Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen in Germany. Lisa is the student representative of the Norwegian chapter (NAEE) of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE).
