Thomas E. McKee is a Professor II at the Norwegian School of Economics where he has taught since 1987. He holds an M.B.A. degree and a Ph.D. degree in accounting from Georgia State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Management Accountant who was previously in professional practice with Price Waterhouse. He is also a full-time Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina where he teaches masters and doctoral courses in healthcare leadership and management. His primary research interest is decision modeling. In addition to more than 20 books, book chapters, or monographs he has also published in journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Intelligent Systems in Accounting, Finance & Management, Journal of Information Technology, Strategic Finance, Managerial Auditing Journal, Journal of Emerging Technologies In Accounting, International Journal of Digital Accounting Research, Journal of Applied Accounting Research, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, Journal of Forecasting, and Accounting Education: An International Journal. He is currently on the editorial boards of International Journal of Auditing (former editor),International Journal of Intelligent Systems in Accounting, Finance, and Management and International Journal of Digital Accounting Research. He has been a consultant to CPA firms and an expert witness in auditing litigation.
