Carl Barkfeldt is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting, Auditing and Law at NHH Norwegian School of Economics. He holds a Ph.D. (2022) in Business Studies from Uppsala University and an M.Sc. (2012) in Economics and Business from Stockholm School of Economics. Before his doctoral studies, Carl worked in investment banking and corporate finance for about five years. His research interests focus on the intersection of financial accounting and emerging technologies, including machine learning and cryptocurrencies.
