Study start 2021

Study start 2021

The following applies at the start of the academic year in August and September 2021.

Updated Wednesday 1 September 2021, 9.11 AM.

The number of coronavirus infections in Bergen is still to high. Thus, restrictions at the local level still apply until 1 September.

NHH is constantly monitoring what is happening regarding contagion, recommendations and regulations, particularly at the local level in Bergen.

Our starting point is that we aim to proceed as rapidly as possible to a normal situation, with physical attendance at lectures.

Thus, there will be ‘physical’ lectures at the NHH from the start of the semester where it is possible.

This may change on short notice.

There are still restrictions on the number of students in the auditoriums, and until further notice we have decided to maintain the distance of ‘an academic metre’, which leaves half the seats empty.

Information for specific courses will be posted on the course pages in Canvas – but be aware that new restrictions may lead to changes.

If we have to give priority to certain courses, we will prioritise those for new students.

As before, there will be a possibility to follow the lectures in all courses digitally.
