Student-active teaching at NHH

Faculty uses a variety of approaches in student-active classrooms including cooperative group work, debate and discussion, and open-ended problem solving. In this seminar, four of our staff members will present their teaching and their thoughts on challenges with student-active teaching:

Jan Ubøe: Dialog based group exercises with 450 students (Bachelor course MET2 - Business Statistics)

Herbjørn Nysveen: Experiences from flipping the classroom (Master course MBM428 - Product Development and Design)

Trine Dahl: Activity-based learning in courses on professional language and communication: of course, but how (English elective ENG10/11 - English for Business I and English for Business II)

Kjell Ove Røsok: Student-active teaching in Oslo – led from Bergen (The master programme in Accounting and Auditing - in Oslo)
