Exploitation of these resources has an impact on the environment, and the balance between these is becoming a critical factor in the business world where business sustainability is increasingly defined by factors which go beyond the bottom line.
The goal of the specialisation in Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment is to educate the next generation of interdisciplinary managers in the study of energy and natural resource development and environmental impact. Students are specifically taught the range of methods and subjects necessary to understand, advance, and critique important issues stemming from the interaction of humans and the environment.
