Admission to the PhD programme is formally administered by Programutvalget for doktorgradsutdanning (PDU - the Doctoral Programme Board), but the individual evaluation of faculty members from the particular research group within which an applicant wishes to pursue his/her education is important in the decision making process.
Applications are welcomed from Norwegian and international applicants who meet our admission requirements.
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet all the admission requirements for the programme.
Applicants who wish also to apply for one of the Research Scholarships must fulfill the admission requirements for the PhD programme and any additional requirements for the Research Scholarship applied for. These applicants must indicate on the application form which research scholarship they are applying for.

Applications will not be considered complete until all the required information has been received, and incomplete applications will not be evaluated.
A link to the online applications form will appear on the nhh-website approximately two months before the deadline.
Applicants must request an official copy of their GMAT/GRE and/or TOEFL/ IELTS scores to be sent directly to NHH. Student records will be treated confidentially.
Letters of recommendation must be sent directly to NHH in sealed envelopes, with the recommender signing the envelope across the seal.

The deadlines for applications are 1st of November and 1st of February each year.
All documents required for the application must be received at NHH by the application deadline.
