Student accomodation in Bergen
Student halls of residence in Bergen are run by SiB, the local student welfare organisation. SiB look after the accomodation and welfare needs of students from all the different higher education institutions in Bergen. They operate a number of student residences in the city, with Fantoft and Hatleberg being the two main residences where international students from the university and colleges in Bergen live.
Reasonably priced housing will be offered to all students accepted onto the ENE, MIB and MBM program who have indicated on the application form that they will be requiring accomodation. More details will be provided to successful applicants.

A room with a million-dollar view
The NHH campus is located a 10 minute bus ride, 20 minute cycle or 40 minute walk north of the city centre. Some international students choose to stay in private accomodation in the city centre or close to campus, but most choose to live in student accomodation.
The Hatleberg students' residence is situated on the NHH campus. The residence consists of four buildings overlooking both NHH and the sea. If you are fortunate enough to be given a room on the sea-facing side of the building you can enjoy picture postcard views over the fjord, especially in the evening when the sun can be seen setting behind the island of Askøy into the Atlantic Ocean.
A student from Hong Kong once remarked that a flat back home with a view as good as the one from his room at NHH would probably cost a million dollars. At NHH the view comes free!

Excellent facilities
The students' residence has both rooms with individual bathroom facilities and some where you share a bathroom with one other person. Two-room apartments are also available for couples. All rooms are furnished, and a shared kitchen is available on each dormitory floor. All rooms have telephone and TV points and broadband internet connection. Laundry facilities are located within the complex, and you will also find a study hall, a TV-room, table-tennis, billiards and a solarium.
With NHH and the sports facilities at Lehmkuhallen so close, Hatelberg is perfectly located for those who want to work late or enjoy one of the many social events and activities at school without having to worry about catching the last bus home.
