Applicants should already be registered on an MBA or MSc programme at one of NHHs partner schools, and should have obtained good grades during their studies to date. An overview of NHH's partner schools is available here.
Applicants should have at least one and a half years of previous study in business administration and economics (this includes subjects like statistics, mathematics, accounting, finance, computing, management, and marketing).
Applicants are also required to have a good command of the English language.
Ideally, students registering for the course should have had an introductory course in natural and environmental economics. Students who do not have such background, are recommended to read the relevant chapters of the reference book for the course: R.Q. Grafton et al: The economics of the environment and natural resources, Blackwell, 2004. A brief introduction to the economics of natural resource and environmental management will also be given at the beginning of the course.
As a public university insitution, NHH does not charge any application, admission or tuition fees to international students. Students are required to cover travel costs to and from Bergen and they are expected to have sufficient funds to cover housing, meals, a contribution towards the social part of the course programme, incidental expenses and extra-curricular activities.
To apply to the Graduate Summer School, please complete the online application form, and then submit electronic copies of the following documents:
Applications will not be considered complete until all required paperwork has been received. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated.
The deadline for receipt of applications by NHH is 1 June.
