There is a very good website with useful information and advice regarding master thesis work. Among others, advice is given on how to choose a topic, how to apply for a thesis advisor, information on deadlines, requirements, and other useful tips.
An information meeting will be arranged just prior to the application deadline for thesis advisors. Information regarding time and place will be posted on it's learning when they are ready.
The deadline to apply for a thesis advisor is the 15 of October for those students wishing to write in the spring semester, and the 15 of March for the students wishing to write in the fall semester.
If you have a specific thesis advisor in mind (and have spoken with him/her), provide the name of the thesis advisor on the application form. The extent to which you can get this exact thesis advisor will depend on their capacity to accept students for the given semester.
You can contact the office manager at the department representing your major in order to inquire about the possibilities of writing in the following semester.
The writing of the thesis can be undertaken by a maximum of three students working in a group. In the collaboration of two or three students on the thesis, a proportional increase in length and effort is expected.
It is your thesis advisor who confirms whether or not your topic fits your major.
This is an issue which should be taken up with your thesis advisor. It is your thesis advisor who will evaluate your thesis for scope and content as the internal censor.
Do I have to pay the semester fee and register myself for the semester even if i am just writing my thesis?
Yes, you have to pay the semester fee and register yourself as undertaking the master thesis in the current semester. The code for the master thesis in the master of economics and business administration is XXXTHE. Example: INBTHE, ENETHE. It is usually already indicated in your study plan. You simply need to confirm it in the relevant semester.
What is the deadline for handing in the thesis?
You can hand in your thesis whenever you wish. Certificates are printed throughout the year (normally not during the month of July), but for all practical reasons, the school must operate in accordance to semester timelines. Students who fulfill the requirements for their degree within the 20 of June are counted as finished in the spring semester, and those who complete the degree requirements by the 20 of December count as finished in the fall semester. It is not possible to hand in your thesis after these respective dates and expect to have your degree stated as issued in the previous semester.

How many copies of the thesis should I hand in?

Electronic delivery of the thesis makes it possible to publish the thesis electronically in addition to having hardcopy versions in the Library.
