Information meeting on the Double degree-programme and the application procedure

To improve the efficiency of the evaluation process of applications to the Double degrees and the CEMS programme, NHH has introduced a joint application deadline - 1 November 2011 - for these programmes.
IMPORTANT: Those students who wish to apply for both the Double degree programme and the CEMS programme must follow a "Two-step" application process. If you only apply for the Double degree programme, please go directly to step 2.
Step 1: Registration Form
The Registration Form register your studentID, name, and your programme priorities. You should only complete the registration form once. When you have completed the Registration Form you should follow the direct link to ” Step 2 – Application Form for Double degrees”.
Step 2a: Application Form
This application form is only for the double degree programmes.
If you apply for the CEMS programme in addition, please remember to complete the application form for CEMS: http://www.cems.org/selection
Step 2b: When you have submitted your Application Form, please forward electronic copies of the following documents to double-degree@nhh.no. In addition to this you should also forward a paper-copy of your documents to The International Relations office at NHH, Helleveien 30, 5045 Bergen/ Norway:
● An official transcript of grades from your Bachelor degree
● Letter of motivation
● Curriculum Vitae
● English test (if required)
● Please note that incomplete application forms will not be considered
Admission criteria
To be qualified to apply for one the double-degree programmes, you need to be enrolled in the 3rd year of the NHH BSc programme or be admitted into the NHH MSc in Economics and Business Administration.
Students are required to have a good command of the English language. The following applicants will be judged as having met this standard:
• Applicants whose native language is English
• Applicants that have two years or more of higher education where the language of tuition was English
All other applicants must take either TOEFL or IELTS. The minimum standard for test scores that NHH accepts are:
• TOEFL - a total score of 575 points for the written test or 233 for the computer-based version or 90 points on the internet based test
• IELTS- a score of 6.5
TOEFL / IETLS scores must be from within the last two years. More information on the TOEFL test is available at: http://www.ets.org/ and for the IELTS: http://www.ielts.org/ .
The NHH code number for TOEFL is 0686.
Since the language of instruction will be in English for all Double degrees, it is not a requirement to have a formal examination in the national language of the partner institution. However, it will be considered as an advantage for those applicants who has a certain knowledge about the specific language.
● Qualified students will be invited to an interview for the final selection
● Selected students commence their programme at NHH in August 2011, and from the autumn of 2012 the students spend one academic year at the host institution.
