Management and Leadership

The area of Management and leadership offer courses at undergraduate, master’s and doctoral levels, covering organizational behavior, negotiation, teams, choice behavior, leadership theories, management of human resources as well as firms and more.
The common thread, and defining theme of this group, is it’s grounding in a behavioral and even psychological perspective on business and organizational issues. The interests of group’s members are diverse, but still relatively homogeneous when viewed against this background.
The group’s main objective is to serve as a resource base and discussion forum for it’s members. The goal is to stimulate the forming of project groups around research areas, and help them grow in every way. Success is measured in international publications, and participation at well-known and established conferences. But relevance for the business and economic environment in general, and of Norway in particular, is of equal importance.
Centre for leadership and management at NHH is associated with the group, helping to reach out to practicing managers and the consulting industry.
