History

The department is a merger of three former departments:Department of Organization Sciences, Department of Marketing, and Department for Information Systems Research. The merger was effective as of January 1, 1998.

Our department is actively involved in research and teaching within in a diversity of fields and disciplines, e.g. organization theory, organization behavior, organization psychology, business management, change management, human resource management, business ethics, business strategy, corporate strategy, interorganizational relations, knowledge management, information management, information systems, electronic commerce, supply chain management, marketing, brand management, and consumer behavior.

The department is currently divided into five areas:
