NHH’s Award for Excellence in Teaching

The main purpose of this award is to improve the quality of studies at NHH. It is presented each year in conjunction with the matriculation of new students. The prize was first awarded in 1999 and consists of a silk print and 16,000 Kroner.

 

Criteria for selection:

Award selection is based on an overall assessment of teaching contributions with special emphasis on the following seven criteria:

 

·         General pedagogical capabilities

·         Well-organised and clear communication

·         Ability to generate interest in the subject and motivate students

·         Ability to explain course material from multiple viewpoints

·         Innovation and creativity, including development of new courses

·         Ability to relate material to other parts of the program

·         Willingness to collaborate on pedagogic tasks
