Previously, Kjell G. Nyborg has been visiting associate professor in finance at UCLA Anderson School of Management, employed at the University of California, Los Angeles and London Business School, and visiting economist at European Central Bank. He earned his degree from the University of Chicago and has a doctorate from the Graduate School of Business at Standford University. He is also an internationally renowned researcher in financial economics with important theoretical and empirical publications.
Professor Nyborg is a fellow for the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), which is a European research organization within the areas of economics and finance. He has also been a consultant for various financial institutions and has taught corporate financing and other subjects at the MBA and doctorate level, as well as in the corporate intern program.
Kjell G. Nyborg’s publications include themes like convertible bonds, capital structure, and competition. Over the past years his main focus has been on multiunit auctions in financial markets, especially auctions of the central bank reserve and securities like government bonds. He has been published extensively in leading economic and finance journals like the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Financial Economics, and the Review of Financial Studies. He has also published many practice-oriented articles in the Financial Times and Financial management, to name a few.
