Award for Excellent Research
In 2006, Alexander Cappelen (left) received the Ingvar Wedervang Young Researcher Award and Kjell G. Salvanes received NHH’s Honor Award for Excellent Research.
Honor Award for Excellent Research
Norges Handelshøyskole’s Honor Award for Excellent Research recognises outstanding scientific research conducted over a long period of time. The difference between scientific research and applied research is not always clear, but this award emphasises pure scientific efforts.
The award is worth 50,000 Kroner.
The NHH collegium established this award, in connection with its 50th anniversary, in 1986.
The Honor Award for Excellent Research was in 2011, the 75-year Anniversary, awarded professor Kurt Jörnsten.
Thus far, the prize has been awarded five times:
· Kjell G. Salvanes - 2006
· Kjell Grønhaug – 2001
· Odd Langholm – 2000
· Agnar Sandmo- 1991
· Karl Henrik Borch - 1986
