Knowledge dissemination and public relations

Aims

NHH will contribute actively to the communication of research-based knowledge within the fields of Economics and Business Administration to the general public, nationally and internationally.

NHH will foster good relations with business and the public sector, and be an attractive partner by offering innovative and relevant research-based knowledge and competence.

NHH will develop its cooperation with SNF and AFF to ensure that the NHH group is perceived as a comprehensive, high-profile academic environment within the fields of Economics and Business Administration.

Objectives

• NHH will be topical and have a high public profile, and its academic staff will play an active role in setting the agenda for public debate
• NHH will expand and strengthen its activities in international knowledge dissemination
• NHH will endeavour to provide the general public with insight into scientific thinking, methods and results
• NHH will have a national responsibility for maintaining and further developing the use of the Norwegian language within the fields of Economics and Business Administration
• NHH will enter into more - and more extensive - agreements with business and organisations, and contribute to the inclusion of the whole NHH group in such corporate agreements, including NHHS where relevant
• The brand name NHH will help to raise the profile of the School nationally and internationally and to promote the NHH group as a leading environment within the fields of Economics and Business Administration
• The importance of students’ activities for the NHH brand, and their responsibility for the brand, will be emphasised
• NHH Alumni will contribute to strengthening NHH’s external relations and reputation
