The Board (Styret) 2011-2012
The Board is NHH's main governing body with responsibility for strategy development, resource allocation and reporting performance. The board also has responsibility for ensuring that the institution runs effectively within the guidelines provided by the Norwegian government.
The NHH Board comprises eleven members: four external members appointed by the Ministry; three faculty members elected from within the faculty at NHH, with two representing tenured faculty and one representing non-tenured faculty; one representative from the administrative staff elected by his or her colleagues, two student members elected by the students, and the Rector.
