Olav Harald Jensen (1973-1978)
Olav Harald Jensen was the first business graduate from NHH who later became a professor at the school. As a researcher he was mainly interested in the areas of accountancy, market economy and finance. During his time as a rector the school expanded its premises into the Merino-building, the main degree programme was restructured and enlarged to cover four years, master level programmes were introduced and a professional, master level programme in auditing was introduced. During his time as a rector Jensen won reputation as a motivator and as a man of action. He was also involved in the boards of many private and public organisations.
