Articles from any diciplines relevant for finance and insurance may be submitted for presentation at the symposium.
Researchers who want to present a paper at the symposium are encouraged to submit papers to any member of the program committee.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE
September 25, 2008.
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
The first page of the paper should contain the title, an abstract of no more than 150 words, name of the author(s), complete address, telephone, fax numbers and e-mail addresses. Please, submit your paper to any member of the program commitee.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Aim and Purpose
The aim of the symposium is to create a meeting place for persons active in the area of Insurance and Finance. The symposium will present selected research papers.
Location and Dates
The symposium will take place at NHH, October 29-30, 2008. It will start Wednesday at lunch time and include lunch on Thursday. The symposium and dinner (on October 29) will take place at a very special restaurant in the Bergen area (to be announced).
Registration
To register for the symposium, simply send an email to insurance.finance@nhh.no with your name, details of affiliation and contact information. The registration fee (including 2 lunches and one dinner) is 1000 NOK. The deadline for registration is October 1.
Accommodation
We have a number of rooms set aside at Neptun Hotel (at NOK 980 per night including breakfast) for this purpose. State in your registration e-mail whether you are interested in this option, and if so, please advise us of the dates for which you require accommodation.
